This is the equipment I used to perform Libreboot on laptops featuring SOIC8 chips (8 pins).
The Raspberry Pi Pico is inexpensive and designed with the right 3.3V logic levels. This means it won't accidentally fry your board by sending 5V signals
Pomona Clip is arguably the premier choice on the market for executing this type of operation
The Dupont Cable must be female-female and 10cm in length, as this provides optimal conditions for reliable data transmission. Lengths longer than this may introduce the risk of potential data errors occurring during transmission
The USB cable is used to connect your Raspberry Pico to the laptop, enabling you to initiate the Libreboot process on your ThinkPad BIOS chip.
